Appin GBOTA race on Saturdays throughout the year. The meetings are conducted during the Day. Appin is New South Wales' only straight race track

During the 2010/11 racing season the track has been allocated 30 non-TAB race meetings.

Nominations close Wednesday prior to the meeting at 9am at the GBOTA Office at the Bulli track (Paul Barnes). Nominations are accepted via fax ONLY

Scratchings will close at the completion of kennelling.
Scratchings that are faxed WILL NOT be accepted
Trials

Trials at Appin are conducted as follows:
Public trials
Tuesdays 7:30am - 9:30am and 3pm till 5pm (Afternoon trials times are one hour later during daylight saving)
Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays 7:30am - 9:30am.

Kennels The Kennels have fans running throughout the block and are on one level.
Kenneling Times 11.00am to 11.45am (Unless otherwise Advertised)
Swab Information If a winning or placed greyhound is swabbed by the stewards in charge of the race meeting, prize money will be withheld until written clearance is received from GRNSW
Box Draw The Appin Box Draw is conducted at the GRNSW offices on Wednesday afternoons prior to the meeting. Responsibility for actioning the box draw function rests with GRNSW.
Telads NSW GBOTA currently have a Faxfields service in operation.

Appin GBOTA is code 5.
Admission $6.60 incl. GST Aged Pensioners receive a $2.00 rebate on presentation of Aged Pension Pass. Children under 18 FREE
Parking Parking is available inside the grounds. Parking for participants and patrons is FREE.
Betting Options Appin GBOTA currently has 2 bookmakers operating on local meetings only.
There is also full Tote facilities on both local and away meetings.

Bookmaker Betting Rules Any bookmaker offering odds against a greyhound shall be compelled to lay such odds if demanded by the taker, but so that the bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose more than $500 on any wager.
EFTPOS There are no EFTPOS facilities on course.
Smoking Smoking is allowed in open air areas
Catering Appin GBOTA has a Snack Bar & a fully licensed bar available to all patrons.
General Information There are no camping facilities for travelling trainers, nor are there kennels available for the greyhounds. Appin GBOTA has Full- TAB service (on Local and Away fields) during its Saturday meeting. There are video replays of all races, which are available to owners and trainers. Feature Races Appin Opal 274m. Open to the best 32 bitches plus reserves. Prize money to the winner $1000. November/Dec each year.
Appin Nugget 366m Open to the best 32 greyhounds nominated plus reserves. Prize money to the winner of final $1000 November/Dec each year.
GRNSW Country Challenge Appin Cup 366m NG open to best greyhounds nominated, top down grading, guarded where possible May each year $4000 to winner - a cup consolation will be programmed
How To Get to the Track FROM SYDNEY
Follow the M5 motorway and take the Campbeltown exit and join onto Appin Rd. The track is on the right on the corner of Brian Road.

FROM SOUTH COAST
Follow the road to Mt Ousley and then Appin Road to the township of Appin. The track is approximately 1km past the main shopping centre on the left hand side as you head to Campbelltown on the corner of Appin and Brian Roads.
